During the month of February, we are asking everyone at MSBC to bring a new package or socks (men’s or women’s) and/or a new or gently used towel. These will be distributed during our “Feed the Hungry” outreach events in February. You may place your towels and socks in the large plastic bin located just outside the sanctuary.

 

Below are the dates for the youth-led “Feed the Hungry”. If you can help drive or chaperone please let Jaret know. The time commitment would be from 11:00am-12:15pm.

** "Feed the Hungry" is a youth-led mission projects that feeds 120 people twice a month.

MSBC is now involved with Prodigals Ministry in Winston Salem.  It is a voluntary alcohol and drug rehab program. The program has many needs in order to provide the best for their residents in treatment. One area for us to help serve is preparing supper for the 15-20 residents every other Thursday evening from 5:10pm-6:15pm. Over the last few months we have had people already serving and delivering meals. We are in need of 4 people each time to help serve. We meet at Prodigals which is located at 1024 Waughtown St. in Winston-Salem.

 

There are a few ways to help out: 

1) Volunteer to deliver and serve meal

2) Cook

3) Donate funds to help supply meals.
